I’m excited to share my artistic journey with you. My work revolves around displaying artwork and videos that explore community values and human qualities. I delve into the various types of environments we encounter—whether natural, built, social, psychological, or spiritual—and how these spaces influence our lives.
Living in Canada provides me with endless inspiration. The natural landscapes here are a pure artist's playground, offering beautiful scenes that evoke deep emotions. I find that painting these landscapes helps me escape the complexities of today's world, allowing me to convey moods through colour and shapes.
In the past, I told stories through painting, but my artistic expression has evolved. I now incorporate photography and video into my practice, capturing the essence of human experiences and the environments we inhabit.
Honours graduate from OCADU in Toronto, where I developed my skills in painting, photography, film, and video. After studying art and education at UBC, I spent several decades living in London, where I completed my Master’s degree in the School of Communication at the Royal College of Art. My focus in the Visual Communication Department’s Moving Image programme deepened my understanding of storytelling through visual mediums.
I’d love to hear from you! Whether you have questions about my artwork, want to discuss collaboration, or simply wish to connect, please feel free to reach out.
